Seamless video conferencing right from Hive

Hive allows you to easily connect to your Zoom account for seamless video conferencing.

You can turn your messaging conversations into a video chat in seconds.

Connect your account

  • Go to Hive apps

  • Click the Zoom integration

  • Enter your Zoom login details

  • Press Save

Create a meeting

There are three ways to instantly create a Zoom video meeting in Hive.

Messaging Shortcut

  • Go to the messaging group, or direct message, where you want to start a meeting

  • In the messaging input box, type /zoom and press enter

  • This will instantly create a meeting link. Your teammates can click and join the meeting

Meeting button

  • Go to the messaging group, or direct message, where you want to start a meeting

  • At the top of the messaging panel, click the zoom icon

  • Confirm you want to start a Zoom meeting

  • This will instantly create a meeting link for everyone in the messaging group, or direct message

Messaging Input Box

  • Go to the messaging group, or direct message, where you want to start a meeting

  • In the messaging input box, click the + button

  • Select "Create Zoom Meeting"

  • Confirm you want to start the Zoom meeting

  • This will instantly create a meeting link. Your teammates can click and join the meeting

Link Hive Notes to Zoom Meetings

You can take full advantage of Hive Notes inside your Zoom window! Hive Notes is a great resource to ensure you're getting the most out of your meetings. Within Hive Notes you can:

  1. Create and assign new action items and next steps so that nothing is missed

  2. Link a note to a calendar event (Bonus: If the calendar event is recurring, you can keep all your notes in one place using the 'Add new entry' feature)

  3. Share the note with all meeting attendees and collaborate on the note together.

Uninstalling the integration

If you would like to uninstall the Zoom integration, you can go to "Hive Apps" and toggle the "Zoom" app to off:


Once uninstalled, Hive removes all data from your Zoom account.
