Gantt now includes an option to show a project’s own start and end dates directly on the project row. Turn it on when you need a clearer view of the project timeline alongside the dates and rollup behavior of its child actions.
Show dates on project rows
Open the project in Gantt view.
Open the Filters or Display controls.
Enable Show project start/end dates.
Review the project rows to see their start and end date range.
How project rows use dates
When enabled, a project row reflects the project’s configured dates together with the existing child-action rollup behavior. Use project start and end dates when you want the project-level plan to be visible in the timeline.
Availability
This option is available to people who can access the project’s Gantt view. It is off by default and is saved as a display preference for the action view, so enable it in the view where you want to use it.
