After a deal is ready for delivery, link a Hive project to the opportunity — or create one from an accepted proposal.
You can also create or link projects from an account.
Delivery projects come from proposal acceptance (kickoff) or by linking an existing project.
Delivery project when a proposal is accepted
Open the opportunity in Hive CRM.
Share and accept a proposal for that opportunity. See Send, share, and sign a proposal.
When the proposal is accepted, Hive automatically starts creating a delivery project and links it to the opportunity (and the deal’s account when available).
On the opportunity Next steps card, open the project with Open project when it appears as linked.
Link an existing project to an opportunity
If delivery already has a Hive project, link it instead of creating another.
Open the opportunity.
Select Link existing (or Link project).
Search for the project and select it.
After a project is linked, you can Change the linked project or unlink it when your permissions allow.
Create or link a project from an account
From an account page you can also start delivery work without going through proposal kickoff first:
Create project — opens the create-project flow, then links the new project to the account.
Link project — search and attach an existing Hive project to the account.
When to use which path
Accept a proposal when the commercial agreement is done — Hive creates the delivery project automatically; use Create delivery project only if you need to retry.
Link existing when the project already exists.
Account Create project / Link project when you are organizing work at the account level before or alongside a specific opportunity.
