If you have Hive set to open any Hive links in a browser but want to change to opening in the Hive desktop app, you can follow these steps to clear that selection, based on your browser:
After you have completed the browser-specific steps, the next time you click to open a Hive link, select the option to always open in the app, as highlighted below:
Chrome Browser
Open Settings
Go to Security and Privacy and then select Clear browsing data
Select Cookies and other site data
Then click Clear data
*This method will sign you out of Hive
Firefox Browser
Open Settings
Go to Privacy & Security and then select Clear Data... under Cookies and Site Data
Select Cookies and Site data
Then click Clear
*This method will sign you out of Hive
