Introducing Workflows, the Hive App designed to automate the small, manual, repeatable tasks in Hive with an intuitive, language-based designer. No coding is necessary to design your own automated workflows.

How to Access Workflows

To start using Workflows, head to your App Library. Workflows is located under the 'Workspace Apps' section.

As soon as you open the app, you will be prompted to create your first Workflow.

Creating Workflows

Once you've created a new Workflow, you are able to set and run these workflows to do things for you, like:

  • Change action assignee

  • Modify an action label

  • Add a new subaction

  • Send an email

  • And so much more!

Users can build onto Workflows to make them as complex or simple as they'd like. There is also an option to run the Workflows on only actions vs. both actions and subactions.

Saving Your Workflow

When you're done building out your custom Workflow, save it and add a title. Once saved, the Workflow will appear in a Workflow Library for all workspace users to view. From the time of creation, the Workflow will be active in the workspace for all associated projects and actions.

To edit or disable a Workflow, click the three dots next to the Workflow in the library.
