Hive’s all-new Home View Sections make it easy to stay on track while maximizing your time. To try out the new Home sections, simply hit the + icon at the top of your screen and add a new tab. Select "List View" from the viewing options.
From here, all custom statuses with associated actions will appear. To change the type of section (Project, Priority level, etc.), go to the Configure view settings in the top right corner of your view.
Let's review more what this part allows:
Group By section: as mentioned above, you can configure the List view to group by:
Status
Section
Priority Level
Project/subproject
Phase
Filter section: provides a variety of different filters such as Statuses, Dates, Labels, etc.
Display section:
Columns: One of the ways to select which columns to display.
Blocked actions: Blocked / Unblocked / Show both
Milestones: Milestone / No Milestone / Show both
Archived actions check box
Projects in draft mode check box
Empty groups check box: if your Section/Project/Status, etc doesn't have any actions under it, you'll want to check this box to allow Hive to show that empty Section/Project/Status in your view.
Actions without due dates
Unbundle subactions: Do not group subactions under parent actions
Hide subactions: Do not show subactions unless they're grouped under parent actions.
When you select to group by 'Section', you'll be able to choose which sections, aka action groupings, and create a custom section at the bottom of the page.
Currently, sections exist in List, Gantt and Table views, but stay tuned for more!
