Bring accounts, people, and opportunities into Hive CRM from a CSV file, or connect Salesforce or HubSpot so records sync in the background.
Where to import
Open CRM, then use Import from:
Accounts, People, or Opportunities toolbars (and their empty states)
CRM Insights (Home), including the setup checklist when the workspace has no accounts yet
Anyone with CRM access can use Import CSV. Import from Salesforce and Import from HubSpot appear for workspace admins on those permanent import menus.
Import CSV
Select Import, then Import CSV.
In Import CRM CSV, choose your CSV file.
Hive validates the file (dry run). Fix any row errors, then select Import rows.
You can also select Download sample CSV for a template.
Supported columns
HubSpot- and Salesforce-style exports often import as-is.
Company name is required on any row that includes a contact or a deal. Contact name and Email must appear together — a row with only one of the pair is rejected.
Other columns are optional.
Company name (also: Company, Account name) — required
Company domain (Domain, Website)
Contact name (Full name, Name) — required with Email
Email (Email address, Contact email) — required with Contact name
Job title (Title)
Deal name (Opportunity name)
Amount (Deal amount, Value)
Stage (Deal stage, Pipeline stage)
Close date (Expected close date)
Deal owner (Owner, Owner email)
After import, Hive shows how many accounts, people, and opportunities were created or updated.
Import from Salesforce
Workspace admins can select Import from Salesforce.
If Salesforce is not connected yet, choose Connect Salesforce and import.
If it is already connected, choose Import last 90 days.
The first import covers the last 90 days and continues in the background. Imported records are shared with everyone who can access CRM.
Import from HubSpot
Workspace admins can select Import from HubSpot to connect HubSpot and start an import into CRM. Follow the HubSpot connection prompts in Hive.
Tips
Use CSV for a one-time list you already have.
Use Salesforce or HubSpot when an admin should connect the org and keep CRM in sync.
You need CRM access to import. Admins manage Salesforce and HubSpot connections.
