Hive uses a six-digit code to confirm your email address when you sign up with email and password or change your account email. The code goes to the address shown on screen and expires after 15 minutes.
Verify your email when signing up
After signing up in Hive on web or mobile, look for the Check your email screen. Hive sends a code to the email address shown there.
Open that inbox and enter the six-digit code. Select Verify email to continue. In the mobile app, entering the sixth digit may submit the code automatically.
Once your email is verified, continue joining or creating your workspace.
Verify a new email address on web
In Hive on web, open your profile menu and select Edit profile.
Change your email address in the Email field and click outside the field to save. If asked, confirm with your current password.
Hive opens a verification dialog and sends a six-digit code to your new address. Enter the code and select Verify email.
Closed the dialog? Select Verify email below the Email field to reopen it. If you changed your email in the mobile app, use this web Profile option to verify the new address.
If you need a new code
Check the inbox for the address shown on screen, including Spam or Junk. When the resend countdown ends, select Resend or Resend code. If a code has expired or does not work, request a new one and enter the new code.
