Updating the desktop app
When an update has downloaded, an Update button appears in Hive’s expanded sidebar. Click it, then choose Restart now to restart Hive and install the update.
Choose Later to hide the button until Hive relaunches or a newer update becomes available.
If you use a much older version of the desktop app, Update opens Hive is out of date instead. Select Download Hive, then install the new version to replace the old one. The button stays until you update.
