Hive Status View is very helpful in staying organized within projects but sometimes you might no longer need a specific status in a project, or you're not sure why it's showing up in Home view status layout.
Status management can also be achieved centrally through Workspace Settings, allowing for the deletion of unused or duplicate statuses.
This guide will help you with deleting a Project Status and Hiding a Project Status from Home View.
Deleting Project Status from the Project
Open the Project and add the Status View tab from the "+" button.
Click the 3 small dots next to the Status
Click "Remove Status"
Confirm by clicking "Delete".
Deleting Statuses through Workspace Settings
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the application.
Navigate to Workspace Settings.
Select the Custom Statuses tab.
Locate the unnecessary status and delete it by selecting the Trash can on the right-hand side.
Hiding a Project Status from Home View
Open Home view and change the layout to Status View
Click the Configure button on the top right corner of the page
Uncheck the Status that you do not want to see
Click "Apply".
Pro-tip: If you'd like to hide all statuses with no actions, simply check the "Hide empty groups' option in Configure settings.
Regularly review and update your project statuses to adapt to evolving workspace needs, ensuring they remain relevant and consistent for your team.
