If you're looking to ensure that your team's holiday calendar is appropriately added into Hive (which helps prevent task scheduling during days when you're all OOO), there are a few ways to go about this.

Adding Team Calendars with Holidays

The first option is to add a team-wide calendar with holidays at the workspace level. To do this, you'll need to be an admin, and access your profile picture dropdown -> Workspace Settings -> Settings -> Holiday Schedule.

From there, you can either leave the workspace with no holiday calendar, choose an existing calendar, or add in your own.

If you decide to add your own calendar, you'll be able to add in a calendar name, color, and all of the relevant holidays that you need to complete your calendar.

Individual Time Off

If you're looking to ensure a teammates time off is logged into Hive appropriately, you can add their time off directly into resourcing. If you navigate to Create -> Time off, you'll be able to add in your teammates PTO.

You can add in the type of leave, any notes you have, and also block off PTO time for resources. Once that is added and saved into Hive, you'll see that the days associated with that PTO are denoted as "Time off" which helps prevent assignments from being scheduled.

Individual OOO Reminders

If you have your Google or Outlook calendars synced to Hive, and you've listed yourself as OOO in those places, a notification will appear when anyone assigns you tasks during your time off.

This will help teammates understand that you're currently unavailable, and if they need work done before your return, they should re-allocate.
