Save a Dashboard PDF layout
Customize your Dashboard PDF before exporting. You can choose the paper size and orientation, then adjust widget positions, dimensions, and ordering. Select Save layout when your changes are ready.
Choose the required paper size, such as Legal.
Select portrait or landscape orientation.
Reorder, resize, and reposition Dashboard widgets.
Save the layout before closing Preview PDF.
Reuse the saved layout
When you reopen Preview PDF, Hive restores the most recently saved layout for that Dashboard context. The preview keeps the saved paper size, orientation, widget positions, dimensions, and ordering. Dashboard exports use the same saved layout shown in Preview PDF.
Unsaved changes
Changes made after the last save remain unsaved until you save the layout. If you close Preview PDF with unsaved edits, use the available confirmation to decide whether to keep or discard those edits. A failed save does not replace the existing saved layout.
Availability
This behavior applies to Dashboard PDF previews and exports, including Dashboard contexts associated with project tabs. Dashboards without a saved custom layout continue using their existing default or legacy paper-size behavior.
