See your projects in a whole new light with Timeline View.

Timeline View offers a powerful and transparent way to monitor your project timelines. Track your project progress seamlessly, identify choke points, and make sharing with stakeholders simple.

It's perfect for managers and teams who need a clear, high-level overview of the project

progress.

Create Timeline view

To access Timeline View and test it out for yourself, simply create a new tab in a project or Summary view and select Timeline View.

If you'd like this Timeline View to be private, just toggle on the "Private view" option.

By default, the view includes all Child projects and all scheduled actions but with a few clicks, you can configure the Timeline view to specify the child projects and actions you'd like to see.

For this, navigate to the Content tab at the top right:

Use the 'Columns' button at the top right to manage the columns you see in the view. The list includes:

  • Project Status

  • Start day

  • Due date

  • Project owner

  • Project members

  • Project Custom fields

Add action to the Timeline

When working in a different view, you can also easily add an action to the Timeline. To do this, right-click your action, find the 'Add to Timeline' option, and select the desired one.

You can also do this by opening your action card directly and navigating to the More menu.

Remove action from the Timeline

You can remove the action from the Timeline by right-clicking your action.

Color code your actions

To make them visually appealing as well as create better organization, you can change the color of action bars in the Timeline view.

To change the color, right-click the desired action and select a color. The color will automatically override any label colors from actions, and apply to all project views and Summary views.

Move actions on the Timeline

To change action dates and organize your actions at the project level, you can drag & drop the action on the timeline.

Export Timeline view

Navigate to the More menu at the top right to export the view. The supported file formats are:

  • PDF

  • PNG
