Split a long form into pages
A multi-page form shows one page of questions at a time. Submitters use Next and Previous, then Submit on the last page. A progress bar with page numbers and titles appears when the form has more than one page.
Use pages when a form is long enough that one screen is hard to finish — for example client details on page 1, project details on page 2, and file uploads on page 3.

Add pages in the form builder
Open the Forms app and create a form, or open an existing form.
Stay on the Form Builder tab. Hive edits one page at a time.
Click Add New Page.
Give the page a title. This title appears in the progress bar. You can also add a page description.
Drag questions from the toolbox onto that page.
Use the page navigator to switch pages, rename a page, reorder pages, or delete a page.
Open Preview to walk through Next, Previous, Submit, and the progress bar.
Click Publish when the form is ready.
A form starts as a single page. The progress bar appears only after you add a second page.
What submitters see
Progress bar — page numbers and page titles, at the top of the form.
Next — moves to the next visible page. Required questions on the current page must be filled in first. Hive shows: Please complete this field.
Previous — returns to the previous visible page. Answers already entered stay filled in.
Submit — appears on the last visible page. One submission includes answers from every page.
Draft answers still auto-save if the submitter leaves and comes back in the same browser. Reset form clears the in-progress draft across all pages. It does not change submissions that were already sent.
Hide a page with Visible IF
You can hide a whole page based on an earlier answer. Select the page in the form builder and set Visible IF on the page, the same way you would on a question.
Example: Page 1 asks “Do you need a new project?” If the answer is No, hide the “New project details” page. Submitters skip that page and never see it in the progress bar.
Visible IF on individual questions still works across pages. Answers from earlier pages stay available for later conditions. If a later question becomes hidden, Hive clears that hidden value.
Availability and limitations
There is no “skip to page 3” jump. Submitters move with Next and Previous through pages that are currently visible.
Deleting a page deletes the questions on that page.
Workflows, action or project mappings, and emails still receive one submission with every page’s answers.
File uploads on an earlier page stay attached when the submitter goes to the next page, as long as they have not reset the form.
A single-page form has no progress bar and only shows Submit.
