Form stats in the Forms app is the internal report of all submissions to a form. Submitters use a different page, My submissions, to track their own requests. See Form Submissions Page.
View submissions in Form stats
Open the Forms library and click the chart icon (Open form stats) next to the submission count of a form.
The page shows the total number of submissions and these columns for each submission:
Open: a link to the submission
Submission: the title of the submission
Submitted at: the date of the submission
Submitted by: the person who submitted the form
Type: action or project
Status: the status of the action or project
One column for each question, with the answer
Download submissions
Click the three dots menu at the top right of the page and select Download as CSV (.csv) or Download as XLSX (.xlsx).
The file has these columns:
Submission: the title of the submission
Submitted At: the date and time of the submission
Submitted By: the name of the user who submitted the form
Type: what the submission created
Status: the status of the action or project that the submission created
One column for each question, with the answer
Control who can view internal submission reports
Open the form editor and its Submission Settings.
Turn on Restrict Form Submissions portal (Forms app).
Choose Designated viewers (users), Designated viewers (teams), or both.
Save your changes. Publish the form when you are ready.
When this is on, only the form creator, workspace admins, the designated users, and members of the designated teams can open the submission reports. The restriction applies to the report and its exports. It does not replace the separate settings for submitter progress tracking or for who can edit the form.
Let submitters track their submissions
Open the Submission settings panel in the form editor.
Select Allow submitters to track form progress.
To limit which fields submitters see when they open a submission, use Limit what form submitters can see.
After they submit, people can track their requests at https://forms.hive.com/my-submissions, or they can click View My Submissions right after they submit. There, they can:
See their submissions from all forms and workspaces
Open a submission to see more details
Add a comment and @mention action followers, in the Comment section at the bottom of the submission
Let submitters edit a submission
For forms that create actions, turn on Allow submitters to edit their submission in Submission Settings. Also turn on Allow submitters to track form progress if submitters open their requests from My submissions. Save and publish your changes.
For an eligible submission, the action shows Edit form submission for the first 48 hours after Hive creates the action. This opens the submitted form in a new tab. This is only for submissions that create actions. Do not use it to edit project submissions.
For the submitter steps, see Form Submissions Page.
